Sometimes I think this world is a shithole and then I see those little good things that make me think maybe it's all worth it.

pre-transition (2010) - 2 years on testosterone and 9 months post-op (2013)

I don’t know what more I can say except I am well on my journey to becoming comfortable in my own body. ┬áIn 2010 I weighed 117 lbs at 5ft 6in. I was dealing with bodily issues, and in an attempt to make my curves go away I ate very little. Today I weigh 142 lbs and physically I feel better than ever, I am not going to say that this journey has magically made my mental problems go away, because it hasn’t and it won’t. That’s something I work on every day and will continue to do so. But to be able to look at myself in the mirror and smile. To know that if I’ve made it this far, there is no place I cannot reach.
